As part of the Barrett Steel Group CMT have access to over 80,000 tonnes of steel ex stock. Our mild steel range is one of the largest in the UK and our impressive stock range includes Beams, Channels, Flats, Angles, Rounds, Squares, Bright Bar, Gas List Tube, Tubeclamps, Open Steel Flooring, Handrails and Mesh.

CMT have the flexibilty to cater to your bespoke requirements. Whether it be standard stock bars, cut to size, shotblasted and primer painted material or a combination of all of them CMT have an extensive range of saws and facilities to meet your precise needs.

With ongoing progressive investment, in addition to the facilities at our Cradley site, we can now offer drilling facilities from within our group with a competitive turnaround for shotblast, painted, drilled and cut material.

We can now offer the most extensive laser tube processing within the UK. The addition of the Jumbo Laser Machine, which enables us to be the only company in the country to laser cut tubes up to 20" in diameter - Hollow Sections 400 x 400 & 500 x 300 in thicknesses up to 16mm, with a maximum input length of 18m and finished lengths of 15m, compliments the existing 3 laser machines at our specialist Tubes site.
